Please! I Beg of You! Help Me!

Okay I have two questions that I'm desperate to have answered. So please, anyone? HELP!?

1. How do you cross out words while/after typing. Mrs. G over at Derfwad Manor uses this all the time and I need to know. So I type (now imagine a line crossing out 'so I type') How do I do this

2. How do I link to something via a word: 'here' becomes a different color and it magically links to a previous post or an entirely different website.

I'm begging anyone who knows the answer to these mysteries to please reply to me and help me!

Thank you and have a nice day!

When you're creating a post in Blogger you have two edit modes, which are selected via tabs: "Edit HTML" and "Compose." To strike out words you need to select the "Edit HTML". Type the words you want to use strikethrough, and then insert two tags that sandwich that text. It needs to look like this:

[s]strikethrough this text[/s]

except that instead of using square brackets around the tags you'll be using carats (the things above the period and comma on the keyboard).

For the hyperlinked text, blogger has a quick-edit button which makes this an easy job, but for that you need to select the "Compose" tab. Then look for a small icon above the text area that looks like an earth with glasses (they're actually two links of a chain). Select the text you want to link by mouse-click-drag. Then click the icon. Enter the URL of the page you want to link to and click OK. That's it!

Hope this helps!

Thanks Miranda. That's exactly what I needed to know but couldn't find. I have to say, that I love your blog so much and it beyond thrills me that you have visited mine. I'll put these tips to good use in my next post!
